Quick Clean

When I carry out McAfee's Quick Clean, I lose access to Microsoft Edge. Why? And how do I fix this (apart from using a different browser)?

Best you call support as I have never seen this issue. They should have a record if reported previously.

I have solved this issue myself, following a web search. The involvement of McAfee is incidental. The real culprit appears to be Trusteer. On uninstalling Trusteer, I immediately gained access to Edge. While Trusteer seems to be the issue, there must be some interaction between Quick Clean and Trusteer. Without Trusteer, there is no issue. It is my hope that McAfee covers the lack of Trusteer.
