I use the McAfee Shredder (LiveSafe) to shred 1 file or several files at a time. Can Shredder shred an Image File from Windows 'Backup and Restore (Windows 7)'?
My 2012 Windows 7 Dell is now Windows 10, and I have several MyBackups images of Windows 7 from 2013 that I would like to get rid of. I just don't know if a 25GB image file is too big to shred.
I read on a Windows forum, where some people suggested to just delete the image file (but they did not have McAfee Shredder).
Used Control Panel & Backup and Restore (Windows 7) to delete several old backups and MS images.
Used Shredder to shred some old Norton Ghost 15 images (1 image was 44 GB).
Have a lot of free space on USB hard drive now.
