UDS signatures Export/Import ?

Hi there.

Is there any way to export all UDS signatures and import them to another NSM instance ?

Re: UDS signatures Export/Import ?

You can export all the UDS signatures from the NSM UI from Policy | Policy Type | IPS and then at the bottom of the page you can click on 'Custom Attacks'.  When inside custom attacks you can highlight all the UDS's or an individual UDS and then click on 'Other Actions' button and then export.

You can take that exported file and then import it into another NSM ui of the same version.

NOTE:  You cannot import a UDS file that you have exported from 9.2 into a 10.1 NSM.

Any other questions, then please let me know.

Many Thanks,

Ian Bryan.

Re: UDS signatures Export/Import ?

Hi Bryan

This does not work work. From 9.2 version all UDS signatures are migrated into Master Attack repository  after import and Custom signatures view is empty.

UDS can be seen only in Master Attack repository view using filter "snort:" but there is no export of selected attacks 🙂
