Need confirmation on configuration changes while adding a new device on sensor inspectation

Hello McAfee, We are changing the topology of our network and removing an old Cisco Router and replacing it with ASA Firewalls. We need to add these firewalls under IPS inspection. Need to know if there is any other configuration change that needs to be done on the manager except enabling the physical port and these ports to be added under policy manager default detection. We can set a 10 min call so I can share screen and you can confirm? Please note that this is live environment and thats why we need to take confirmations before we take action. Awaiting your reply. You need to connect network devices on the Sensor and enable monitoring port. Once the link is up traffic will be inspected by the Sensor.

By default, 'default prevention' IPS policy will be applied to the interface. No other policies will be there like firewall, advanced malware, inspection option, etc. You may fine tune and apply policies as required.
