NSM update url change to nspupdate.mcafee.com

My Azure based 10.1 manager (10.1.7.25) is no longer automatically updating the IPS Signatures. Support has said that is requires an upgrade of my Manager.

McAfee cannot manage to migrate a backend Update URL without breaking IPS Signature updating, on their NSM platform, with its sole purpose of provide IPS functionality. If this server isn't reliable, then why am I using McAfee?

Seriously, this is deeply concerning and something that not just Dev should address, but also management.

This is just bad. How can I rely on McAfee now?

I understand your concern regarding unable to get signature set update on older builds.

The server has been decommissioned effective October 15, 2021 and SNS was sent out notifying the same.

As a workaround you may try either of options:

1. Manually update signature sets by downloading them from Product Download Page.

2. Change update server URL following KB93274
