If you are referring to multi vsys , multisystem architecture which is used by firewalls in which each vsys is an independent (virtual) firewall that is managed separately and cannot be accessed or viewed by any other.
The above is not present in IPS, IPS interfaces itself are separate segments, the best way you can have controls over the same is by creating separate domains and allocating resource / users / interfaces accordingly, you can take this approach for achieving this objective
