Getting error in NSP registration

Hi support team, we have upgraded our network security manager to, we are getting following error while trying to register NSP, "Registration error: Failed to register. Error occurred connecting to McAfee registration service: PKIX path building failed: No issuer certificate for certificate in certification path found. Note: Registration requires Internet connectivity. Tip: If this Manager requires a proxy server to access the Internet, skip registration for now, configure a proxy server (from the Manager/Setup menu) and then register the Manager from its Summary page. Please help me out to resolve the issue. Thanks and Regards Snehasis

Re: Getting error in NSP registration

Hi @Snehasis-Laurus

I understand the registration is failing because of certificate in NSM. Kindly replace jssecacerts following steps in below KB.

1. Stop Watchdog service

2. Stop Manager service

3. Take copy of original certificate and replace the certificate

4. Start manger service

5. Login and register the NSM.

6. Start Watchdog service.
