Error updating flash

Hi All,

I want some suggestion about this:

Last days I got issue after upgrading to new firmware on sensor ns9100 and after up-gradation my sensor was in abnormal state. After that I used rescue disk option and when i issue command

rescue <imagename>

This will format your ssd:y

when I press Y then I got error : Unable to update flash

After that I load image using tftp server and now everything was fine.

Kindly suggest me Is there any hardware fault?

Status LED on sensor is green and stable.

Re: Error updating flash

Hi @User27622125

I understand there might had been some issues applying image to the flash of the Sensor.  If the Sensor is UP and running then it doesn't necessarily mean hardware issue. Moving forward, monitor the Sensor and raise a support request if you find abnormalities with device like abrupt reboot or hang.

Otherwise, kindly raise a service request with support team after collecting Sensor trace from the faulty device.
