NSM manages sensors (IPS/IDS, NTBA, NTR). It also integrates with Vulnerability Manager, EIA and HIPS.

Vulnerability Manager, manages the vulnerability Scanner.

Hope that help in some way.

NTR is not managed by NSM.

NTR has two components - NTR Manager and NTR Sensor, which can be run on the same system.
