My McAfee subscription is due for renewal in a few days. I live in the UK. The subscription is directly with McAfee.
Whenever I attempt to renew it, either through the application or via my account on the McAfee website, the browser jumps to this Saudi Arabian website at Mobily | Personal with no apparent link to McAfee.
Yes, I am using home.mcafee.com.
I am using a PC.
When I go to My Account it shows the correct product and correct renewal date:
Your McAfee Internet Security 3-User subscription through Adobe expires on 16/05/2016. Renew now for uninterrupted protection.
My goodness, by you indicating 'Through Adobe' quite possibly means you may have inadvertently Downloaded/Installed 'McAfee Security Scan Plus' which is bundled occasionally with Adobe Products. You can safely remove this application by going to your Control Panel/Program/Features/Add Remove.
As it is basically a 'Marketing Tool', and has no protection capabilities.
One needs to pay close attention to the 'Optional Offers' when Installing products such as Adobe.
It seems that by your mentioning such, that you are being directed to a ISP? Could you kindly open your McAfee Security Center and determine that your (Affld) is 0? This indicates that your subscription is purchased 'Directly' from McAfee, opposed to being provided through an ISP.
