This can happen if the original software wasn't uninstalled in the normal manner (via Control Panel) but just using the removal tool or maybe the drive was formatted and the system reinstalled, was that the case here?
Anyway we can't fix it here, you will have to speak to Customer Service directly, it's free by phone or online chat and linked under Useful Links at the top of this page (3rd one down the list).
I do know that anything on that page that isn't used in (I think) 60 days, will eventually disappear. They will clarify that for you.

I already explained above what to do. If that doesn't help then in addtion to contacting Customer Service regarding the license issue, you should open a case with Technical Support, it's free of charge by phone oir online chat and also linked under Useful Links at the top of this page.
It's a regular toll-free phone number as far as I know. Or you can click the link above that section and use the online chat.
Skype is simply software providing a means of reaching a phone number isn't it?
