New phone protection

Hi. I just bought a new phone and need to transfer my protection. My pc shows my computer as protected. And the icon for my phone has a red exclamation point showing. I have given access to draw over apps, app usage, and location. However, I can't find out how to grant accessibility. When I open this particular area, I am told to 'Find and tap McAfee'. I have no idea what this is. When I do find the McAfee icon, it directs me back to the uninstall/open and starts the cycle over again. It's quite frustrating. I need to cover my phone. Any ideas?   Thanks 🙂

Re: New phone protection

Hi @cyrusthevirus ,

I do understand that you have difficulty in setting up your phone. Kindly follow the below procedure.

  • Open your phone settings
  • Click on Accessibility
  • Scroll down and check if you see "McAfee Security"
  • Click on McAfee Security
  • Look for the Toggle switch at the top right corner and turn it on
  • Once turned On, close the settings and open the McAfee
  • You will not see the notification.

Please feel free to reply, if you have any concern.
