Hello,
We´re having problems accesing to a particular website: http://ekialdea-online.com .We´re receiving a cannot connect error. We know this is a valid site as we can access from another networks.
If we make "ping ekialdea-online.com", the echo doesn´t replies but it resolves the domain. If we access from a different network the ping replies echo. So we would like to discard that the problem is coming from the MFE.
Does anybody know if it´s possible to do via SSH a get to url - like as in MWG with wget or curl?
Regards
$> telnet [IP] 80
- From the CLI of the firewall. You'll see a SYN, SYN/ACK, ACK at least if it connects.
The firewall also has Python on it so you can use Python scripts/commands to get URLs also.
I can access that site through both a 7.0.1.03 and a 8.2.1 firewall through the HTTP proxy.
You have to look in the audit to see if your firewall is blocking some sort of header or response from the server.
