I just installed McAfee family protection and I was on the phone with a friend while trying to install it on my PC.
By mistake, I seemed to have entered my email address wrong on the Family protection setup page.
Now, despite repeated attempts on uninstallation and reinstallation of the program, it would not let me setup an account again.
The moment I reinstall it , on the stage after entering the serial number to activate it, it jumps to page where I am already logged on with my wrong email address.
I just seem to be going around in loops.
Any help would be appreciated.
The user name cannot be changed as per this FAQ: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?lc=1033&id=TS100637
As I don't have the product myself I can only guess that to change the email one would need to completely uninstall and reinstall.
