When trying to configure TIE and MAR Server, the installation is failing with the error ( Appliance Startup):

MA initailaistation seems to be taking longer than expected. Please :

- On ePO, verify the Agent handlers IP adress configuration?

- Appliance NTP Statuts is : unsynchronised ?

- DXL policy is not present in the appliance at this time ?

- DXL/TIE certification are not yet present in this appliance?

Thank you in advance!

Try to follow the next kb steps:

KB88156

Workaround
To advance through the installation:
Restart the OVA or ISO installation of TIE Server.
When prompted to use the DXL Broker service in the installation wizard, select N for No.
Complete the installation configuration requirements.
Once installation is complete, log on to the TIE Server console.
Type the following:

sudo change-services

Configure DXL broker as required.

The DXL broker service will start after the configuration is saved.

NOTE: The connection of DXL Broker to ePO Server is based on the Agent Server Communication Interval. Depending on your communication interval, it could take two hours for the DXL broker to be tagged as a DXLBROKER.

If you already have an existing DXL Broker in the environment, TIE Server can reach the existing broker because it also includes a DXL Client. In large environments, it is recommended that you keep the TIE Server and DXL Broker on separate appliances.

Also check if the same Gateway is set on the ePO server and DXL server and without communication issues.
