xuvsdt.pvs

Hi

A customers machine has their Virusscan Enterprise 8.7.0i flashing up with this Trojan apparently deleted only for the message to flash back up once the message is removed or the window is closed

It appears to be renaming itself as it goes from xuvsdt.pvs to xuvsdt.pvsx to xuvsdt.pvsxxx and so on and so on

what seems weird is that the Application field keeps changing from Explorer.exe to system32\services to system32\winlogin to system32\svchost to system32\lsass etc etc

Anyone have any ideas? I'm running Malware Bytes at the moment but so far that hasn't found anything

RE: xuvsdt.pvs

Ignore that Malware Bytes eventually picked it up and deleted it

RE: xuvsdt.pvs

Honestly cant remember, pretty sure Malware Bytes saw it as a Trojan like McAfee did

I'm glad you got it resolved already. If it's not too much of a problem for you, I would be interested in seeing the MalwareBytes log file.
