something to worry about?

I have been using mcaffee, and my computer had any major problem ever since I used it. But i just notice that sometimes it cannot detect some spyware or virus.

is this something to worry about?

All programs are not 100% coverage I suggest following the suggestions here

and use some of the free programs to augment mcafee

 

Try downloading, installing, updating and running the free versions of these two tools & let them clean everything they find, rebooting if asked:
