pup

I am new to the forum and wondering if anyone has heard of a pup called Adware-Coupon? I am Having trouble trying to remove this... Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

Please try the following step.

Try to run the free versions of tool: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
It will clean anything it detected.

Yes I've heard of it - it is detected when you install the Coupon Printer for certain online discount coupons. It's harmless - if it is that, do you remember installing one to print coupons?

If so, then trust it in the pop-up as it's just caused by that activex component.

In worst case you continuously get message from McAfee that it was blocked.. if that is the reboot the machine to safe mode and do a manual scan of the machine
