Re: http://isearch.fantastigames.com malware or virus problem

I broke that link just in case and moved this to Malware Discussions.

If this is isearch Babylon check here:  http://www.babylon.com/uninstall_search/index or.....  https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-4345

Or try Malwarebytes Free, linked in my signature below, last line.  Do NOT accept the free trial or you'll get the wrong version.

You could also try using System Restore to go back to before it arrived.

Re: http://isearch.fantastigames.com malware or virus problem

It's adware that almost certainly came bundled with a software download. If System Restore works, fine. If you still have problems afterwards, let us know what browser(s) you use. The search redirects can be eliminated but you may need several tools to do it.

For information on fantastigames and search redirection -

This probably came with the iLivid download manager. There are many associated websites all hosted on the folowing server, whose IP address you should probably block in the firewall (in My Network Connections) - just in case. The address is 207.232.22.55

Re: http://isearch.fantastigames.com malware or virus problem

Yes.

You have to use the registry editor, use it's "find" feature and delete all referrences to fantasti

You must be able to make a back up of the registry and know how to restore the registry from the backup.

You can wreck your computer if you don't know what you're doing.

I've left details here:
