Vista Internet security 2010 is a new version of OS-specific rogue antiviruses. To be more precise, it is a same fake antivirus like XP Or Win 7 Internet security 2010, you will see a different name according to your OS though. It is a scam that should not be taken lightly. Although threats Vista Internet Security 2010 shows in its scan logs are false, your Vista PC got serious infection – the rogue promoting trojans. You might get them by clicking on infected facebook/myspace ads or by downloading useless shareware or fake codecs.

ok for thoses who might want to knwo
something happened to the program that was making this run
i got a windows error saying that "av.exe has stopped working -windows will close the program and cheak to see if ..."
i went to my task manager and ended "process tree"
i do not knwo if it was attached to any important files- so i would not recommend doing this for any other then a temporay fix
i have only 16 programs running total so if soemthing does mess up i can alway reinstal it...
BUT this thing is still on my computer so any tips people????
Moved this to the correct area. No virus protection is going to stop 100% of what's out there, especially when it comes to fake anti-malware software such as this. You have to be very careful where you surf, what you click on and what you download.
