I'm trying to install Torch Browser using the offline installer but McAfee intervenes and says that it's found a problem - suspect!49f7a49006fc and then it deletes it.
Is it a false positive or is it in reality actually finding a problem?

Depending on the product you are using, You are requested to raise a Service Request to investigate the sample and confirm the same.
This could be a False positive, however it is best to submit the sample or the hash information our Labs team to confirm that the sample is alright.
If by Product you mean which version of McAfee, I'm running McAfee|BT Virus protect. That I've got with my BT Internet.

Allow 3 days or so but thing to remember you will get a reply straight away if not you zipped the file wrong of the file is too big. If so submit it the www.virustotal.com and post the link to the scan here.
