I'm unable to scan my computer, a red box appears stating " An unexpected error has occurred". I have just found out I have clicked on a fraudulent link, I have changed passwords to all my accounts. Could something in this link effected my Mcafee security?
I moved this to Malware Discussion > Home User Assistance as that seems appropriate.
Can you use System Restore to go back to before this happened? Try that first.
I also suggest you run Adwcleaner and Malwarebytes Free from the last link below. To keep MBAM free do NOT accept the free trial or activate it if asked.

I would suggest a clean uninstall and Reinstall to see if this is getting fixed. Alternatively you can contact McAfee's Tech Support from the below link whom will help you with this..!
