I can not remove the trojan with the file name "SUSP_IRP_MJ_CREATE". The detection name is "TDSS.b!mem" I have tried using McAfee, which deletes it, and then it reappears on a subsequent scan. I have also tried Malwarebytes and stinger which does not find it. I also tried running McAfee, Malwartebyetes and stinger in safe mode which doesn't help. Any suggestions?
Windows XP is my OS.
McAfee is such a rip-off. I pay $40 a year and it still does not prevent viruses. Nor can it remove them.
They want $89.95 for their "virus removal service." Why am I bothering to pay them $40 a year?
Moved to a more approriate area. If you paid for virus removal service and it didn't work you are entitled to a refund.
No anti-virus software on the market today will protect you against everything out there. You have to keep Windows & your other installed software/hardware totally up to date and be careful surfing, downloading etc.
I suggest you use Hijackthis and post its log on one of the following forums for expert advice.

This is an old thread, since then the DOS scan procedure doesn't work any more due to changes in file formats for DAT's.
Is this any help? Secured2k's BootCD ?
