Does the virus name start with "Artemis", followed by a chain of numbers and/or letters? If so that is a herusthetic detection via the GTI system. Have you submit the file to McAfee labs for analysis?Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 15/12/13 9:49:01 EST AM

You can also upload the file to https://www.virustotal.com/ to be checked by many other antivirus programs.
If the detection of this file as a virus has only started since you got McAfee, did you have any antivirus protection before McAfee?Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 15/12/13 9:49:17 EST AM
before mcafee i was using norton but my license end so i decide to change to mcafee.Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 15/12/13 9:49:40 EST AM
McAfee already has it if it is an Artemis detection as that is the name it gives to unknowns which it has already submitted to the Labs. I took the liberty of moving this to Artemis Discussion & plucking the Artemis detection number from that VirusTotal link and adding it to the headers of each post here, so any Lab technician patrolling here will notice it.
