I keep getting this message and I don't know how to get rid of it. The program is Adware-Bprotect and when I click remove there's a window popping up. If I click OK to remove, the message will just keep coming back and if I click cancel the message comes back but after a longer period of time. I've already tried to delete it in the "quarantined potentially unwanted program" section but that doesn't seem to change anything. Then I ran a quick scan and it found 1 issue, the PUP Adware-Bprotect, that I tried to get rid of but it did not work and it says that it's unable to delete. Does anyone know how to get rid of it or can someone help me? Thank you.
Moved to Malware Discussions as a better spot.
It looks like you may have inadvertently downloaded an unwanted toolbar or program as part of another download.
See this thread over at the highly respected BleepingComputer Forums: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/499273/mcafee-blocked-running-of-broswer-manageradware-bpro...
Check all your browser(s) add-ons for unwanted stuff also your Program list in Control Panel.
Run Stinger, Malwarebytes Free, & AdwCleaner, all listed in the last link in my signature below.
One of those should get rid of it.

I have the same issue and I am unalbe to remove the Program using McAfee, Stinger ,Malwarebytes, or AdwareCleaner
It may be because the program is in a hidden folder: C:\ProgramData\Performancer\Performancer.dll
The alert is driving me mad, can anyone assist?
I don't have that folder so maybe it's connected to some software you have?
I would maybe try a Hijackthis scan and post its log as instructed lower down the last link in my signature below.
The specialist forums would know what to do hopefully.
I tried CCForm and Stinger but they did not find it.
I ran my PC in Safe Mode, did a scan and not only did i find this annoying problem, I also found two more, anothe BProtect. and also a Mega file(can't remember name)
When I tried to quarantine them all, only the Mega file could be quarantined. However, when I did another scan, all three nuisance files had gone and my PC now seems to be runnign fine.
