Hello,

Potentially Unwanted Programs can be commercial products. These are not a virus or trojan, but any piece of software which a reasonably security-or privacy-minded computer user may want to be informed of.

Please see at http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/pups/configuration.aspx for information about Enabling/Disabling Detection and Removal of Potentially Unwanted Programs .

The next step, if you are still having problems, please send us a copy of the sample for further analysis to virus_research@avertlabs.com,  in a password-protected ZIP file (password - infected). You can find detailed instructions for how to do this at http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/submit-sample.aspx.

Hope this helps,

Patty Ammirabile
