Hi, I've just installed this game(Granado Espada) into my computer, and McAfee quarantined my ge.exe file saying it was a Trojan(Before submitting the file, McAfee marked it as Win32). I've played Granado Espada years ago(2007), and I've not heard of any trojan related problems from users who played the game. I do hope that McAfee checks this out, because I need the ge.exe to run my game. Thanks

Submit the file when they reply reply back saying it is a false +ve.
Change the subject to reflect the detection name and false +ve
If no reply in 3 days post back amd I will stir them up politely
I actually sent the file using McAfee GetSusp. I don't recieve any replies yet so far. I even resend the file using GetSusp again. Should I send the file using email or wait.(Had to ask just incase)
Well, no mails yet. Not sure if the email i recieved, just after sending the file through GetSusp, was supposed to be the reply. But this is what it says, and I'm going to assume that detection name is Win32.
File Name Findings Detection Type
--------- -------- --------- ----
ge.ex_ supported_heuristic_virus_det... new win32 assumed_dirty3
P.S: I don't know how to change the subject, sorry. I'm new to McAfee forum.Message was edited by: casada_radio on 12/7/11 12:10:01 AM CST
If you emailed it you would have got an immediate auto detection reply. If not you may have not zipped and passworded the file correctly.
Will pass this to a tech.Message was edited by: Peacekeeper on 8/12/11 6:55:00 AM
