PUP

:confused: how do I remove a Pontentialy Unwanted Program, from my machine, which was flagged up when I ran a virus scan through my newly installed McAfee Security Centre.
File name is C:\hp\bin\KillWind.exe. I search for this file on my PC but to no avail. During my search it says it is found but nothing appears in the window for me to do anything with..

KillWind.exe is a utility program that HP includes in their software packages.
KillWind.exe is part of BackWeb software.

RE: PUP

It's used by many companies such as IBM, McAfee and Logitech for ensuring that customers automatically update to the latest drivers for their relevant application.Backweb is also a logitech mouse driver.
