PUP Alert Problem

I renewed my subscription today and since then, every few minutes, MacAfee Total Protection displays an alert about a Potentially Unwanted Program. Regardless of whether I allow or try to delete, the alert keeps recurring, with no effect whatever on the file in question. How do I sort this out?

Please try following these  Guidelines/Instructions

I might add that these (2) articles will furnish you a better insight, of how the 'Potentially Unwanted Program' arrived on your system.

In addition, you may want to go to your Control Panel/Programs/Features and make sure you have not inadvertently installed ' McAfee Security Scan Plus'.  This application is only a 'Marketing Tool' and can safely be removed.

All the Best,

CD
