About 3 weeks ago I was streaming a Barclays premier league game via a website which I trust but like all streaming websites comes with ads and pop ups etc. I contracted an Artemis Trojan which was quarantined and I then deleted it, without sending it on for analysis. Looking back at my Security history i found another Artemis programme although this time not a trojan, just potential threat.
The potential threat- Artemis!8789F90EC033
The Trojan- Artemis!9EDEDAB641A8
Just need some clarification.Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 13/02/14 9:35:13 EST AM
Moved this to Malware Discussion > Artemis Discussion for better support. Eventually someone from the labs may spot this and post but in the meanwhile I should explain that I have added the Artemis numbers to the headers of this discussion so it will be noticed.
Artemis is the label given to unknowns detected by your anti-virus, which have been submitted to the labs for analysis. It's possible they will clear them but if you are positive they are false you can dispute the findings now.
