My ASUS Zenfone 5 with McAfee Live Safe installed suddenly show me a Medium Threat within com.android.shell. Name: artemis!7a165b34789b.
As this is a system file, it's impossible to remove it.
What I do?
I have read in this forum several issues relating that this is a false detection and McAfee solved the problem with one actualization of the database.
Can anyone help me?

Today the false detection go away and the protected smartphones are ok.
I suppose that was any delay to reflect the corretion, but now is all working well.

Dear friend, unfortunately none solution was presented to me so, the problem persists. In addition my Samsung Tablet is showing a similar problem, now within a pre-installed game (Shark).
I am very disappointed with McAfee. Thinking in request a refund of my signature and going to install another solution that really protect my apparatus.
Is those Artemis! false detections?

I will reach out to a higher level Engineer to escalate your problem. Actually Steam/Minecraft/Foxhud gaming downloaders/unpackers are intially detected by most Security Applications, until they have been whitelisted. So you will be presented with the same issue in most cases.
As far as protecting your devices,McAfee is doing just that by blocking suspicious/unknown processes and files.

Today I received an e-mail with the following text: "The quicker you provide the *Default Message Application* the sooner we cab get this resolved."

I apologize as I answer *Hundreds* of posts usually on a daily basis, and that particular one was in regards to another thread. What David meant was at the (COB) " Close of Buisness" Which the engineer is definitely checking into your detection.
In other words we have to wait to hear back from the Labs.
