McAfee purchaser

I downloaded McAfee and ran the virus scan but the ntndis.sys was not removed by McAfee. The Chat goes to installing and never stops. The virtual technician goes in an endless loop of run and next. Does any one know where to get a fix for the ntndis.sys???
