McAfee found and deleted - Artemis!B44A2E1EAC5E on 02/03/13

Jump to solution

On 02/03/13 - This virus/trojan was stopped via the browser protection on my workstation and subsequently deleted by McAfee SaaS.  Please advise of any addition concerns that I should be mindful of as to other complications that may arise from this virus/trojan?

Many thanks.

Hi Rbva,

McAfee detects a file as Artemis if  the particular  file has a suspicious behavior which virus file does but Artemis files are not really virus. Eg If a file getting modified very often.

If that particular file is deleted it is well and good, please keep us posted if you find repeated file deleted pop-ups.

Moved from SaaS to Artemis Discussion to see if someone from that department has a comment.
