Just says "Nook Demo" Version 188.8.131.52 "! Hight threat risk".
When you try to remove, it says "uninstall not successful". Kimd of like the Nook thinks this is one of their uninstallable pieces/parts, and McAfee thinks it's a virus.
I know the Nook HD+ is a tiny portion nof the market, I just wondered if they tested the Android version on it?
I like McAfee, as I use in on Windows, and am hoping to see this resolved.
Hope this helps.

Reply to the auto feedback you get after you submit it change the subject to False +ve and name of detection and say why you think it is a false detection.
post the analysis ID here and if no reply/fix in 5 datys I will stir things up.
Maybe it's as simple as trusting an App? Is this an App?
Open McAfee, then click Privacy, then App Privacy and look for the App and click 'Keep'.
Thanks Ex_Brit, but that doesn't work under privacy there is an "uninstall", but that doesn't work, as the Nook thinks this is part of their OS. Also, under threat detection McAfee can't Keep or Uninstall. I'm left with a virus warning poping up all day, as there is no way to clear the warning.Message was edited by: acp19809 on 8/5/13 6:10:38 PM CDT
It's possible that McAfee support can help you with this because I just discovered online that it isn't just McAfee that detects Nook Demo as malicious, so does Sophos Antivirus. Hopefully they know about it already and can help you sort out this mess. Have you contacted Nook support also as another avenue of approach as they have to know about it?
OK, I've sent a message to a couple of people at McAfee Labs to see if they have any ideas. So one way or the other, this should be sorted out soon.
I still think it would be a good idea to contact support as a backup.Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 05/08/13 8:26:30 EDT PM
