Information on new ransomware WannaRen

Looking for additional information on the new ransomware WannaRen and if there are additional protections available to put in place.

Thank you for your post. I am afraid none of these advisories and blogs provide any IOC to verify detections against. However, I was able to identify few IOCs of this ransomware that we do provide coverage for.

I would like to seek your help in gaining a list of IOCs so that we can confirm the coverage regarding detection of that specific campaign for you.

For the already detected IOCs, it is currently detected via GTI/Artemis and if you prefer immediate coverage, you can contact us via a Service Request where we can assist you with an EXTRA DAT for the same.

Alternatively, the updated detections will be provided in regular DATs updates in 2 to 3 business days.
