Hi

Checked further and found filename: Boot Config Tool

Registry Value added:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run\BootCfg

Let me know how may I help you further?

Solution -

To ensure that you have the maximum available capability of detecting and cleaning this malware on your system, please make sure you have the latest engine.

DAT updates are available at: http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/dat.asp

Thanks for the reply. However, I am not too concerned with how to remove the detect. What I need to know is what the detect actually is and if it has been absorbed into any recent DAT release. Where did you find information leading you to the Boot Config Tool, or can you direct me any information stating that it is, or is this an Internal verification from McAfee? Thanks for your time.
