Incredimai trojan

I hope that this is the correct forum for this thread. I have just re-installed Incredimail after I got a very quick pop up from McAfee to say that it had identified and quarantined a trojan in the Incredimail downloader. Where does McAfee keep quarantined files and how do I get rid of them from my system or does McAfee do it.?

Hello Yorkshire Lass,

Are you sure that it was a trojan? If you feel that it shouldn't have been identified there is a procedure for submission to get it cleared. I can tell you about that if you wish.

To locate the quarantined item just open Security Center by double-clicking the taskbar "M".
Click "Advanced Menu" at bottom left
Click Restore at left.

You can deal with anything that has been quarantined there. If Incredimail installed OK you can remove the item altogether, or you can restore it if you wish.

Thanks for replying so quickly; I went to Restore but there was nothing there so maybe I got rid of whatever it was when I uninstalled Incredimail and all the files and folders that I had in My Documents. Hopefully everything will be ok now and at least I've found out how to locate quarantined items if I get any. Thanks again.
