I have a PUP named MWS. Should I remove it?

I have a PUP named MWS. Here's the rest:

Location: C:\System Volume Information\_restore{37A8FA45-BDC0-4803-879F-70A94F8A041D}\RP721\A0086467.DLL

My McAfee Security Suite says I'm protected, but the "Potentially Unwanted Program Detected" box won't let me remove it. Should I trust this program or do I need to have the professionals remove it?

Thanks.

RE: I have a PUP named MWS. Should I remove it?

Hello,

To turn off System Restore click Start > Right Click My Computer > Properties. Click the System Restore tab and Check "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives" Click Apply. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this then Click OK.

Turn on System Restore by Clicking Start. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. Click the System Restore tab. Uncheck "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives." Click Apply, and then OK.

This will create a new Restore Point.

The above for XP systems

Thanks!

Thanks for your help. Does creating a new restore point eliminate the PUP named MWS? So I don't need to worry about the PUP anymore?
Thanks
