False positive Artemis!8532E70CE60B

I got the false positive Artemis!8532E70CE60B on the file c:\program files\LG ELECTRONICS\LG UNITED MOBILE DRIVER\LGANDNETADB.SYS

This was while installing the USB driver from http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-GS505

If I restore it from the Quarantined and trusted items, Mcafee immediately deletes it again. I guess there is no workaround for home users...

Security Center 11.6, Viruscan 15.6, DAT file 5/2/2013.

Re: False positive Artemis!8532E70CE60B

The way is report this as a false +ve and it should be fixed in a few days

http://vil.nai.com/vil/submit-sample.aspx

When they reply ie foul\nd a virus reply changing the subjest to False +ve detection and name of the detection. Leave the body of the email as is and add why you think the file is ok and a link to where to get it.

Post the analysis ID here and if no fix in 4 days post back and I will chase it up.

Hi,

This file was classified as clean and should no longer cause a detection.
