False Positive Artemis!09D49C76D224 Fix this bug please!

I'm a developer of paid app.

Some of our customers cannot work with program and reporting false positives with component of Game Prelauncher program.

Its small and simple exe that can start main exe . On virustotal 40 from 43 antiviruses show that there is no any viruses but MCAffe shows that it is Artemis!09D49C76D224 . Please fix this bug.

Hi MCAffee support.

Maybe you have special section on site or email where I can send this False Positive - like another companies have? I searched on your site but could not find such section.

How can I speed up processing?

Well, since your issue has not been responded to as of yet, I will try.

If you are having problems with a possible Artemis "false positive" detection please do the following:



1) Create a new discussion thread in the Artemis Community with a subject line of 'Possible False Positive - Artemis!<insert the rest of the detection name here>.


2) Within the message body please provide details of the file being detected (software name, version, file path etc)


3) If you are able to, please submit a sample of the file (zipped with a password of infected) to either virus_research@avertlabs.com (with the word FALSE in the subject line) or to webimmune and include the analysis ID you receive in the discussion thread you  previously created. Corporate customers can also submit via serviceportal



Step 3 is not always necessary, but what's most important is providing the full detection name.



We will then investigate the detection and respond back as appropriate.

http://vil.nai.com/vil/submit-sample.aspx is a way to submit the file in question. Follow the directions and place a comment that this is a False Positive (Artemis!09D49C76D224) and to please investigate. Often, once found to be a false positive, Artemis usually can release the detection within hours.
