McAfee will not allow me to download, run, or extract files from two programs I am trying to install. It removes the files completely and sends them to the Quarantine, where it has them labeled as Artemis! E40F34EE7422 and Artemis! 3C307250133D. I have used the programs before on other computers without McAfee, and believe this is a false positive detection, or that these files may not be in your database of known threats or trusted programs.

Upon your Confirmation of submission, you will receive a Analysis ID #, or if submitted through McAfee Getsusp you will receive a Work Item #, please save for future reference.We can if the file has not been cleared in 4 days inform a lab tech who then can fix the issue
If you are running the (13.6 ) Version, Exclusion of Files have been re-introduced. However utilizing is at your own risk, until the detection has been cleared.

This is on my All Access this morning as wel but well I tried to quanrenteen said failed & red exclamation still here?
As you can see by your Screenshot, the mentioned files (Have already) been quarantined by McAfee for your safety.
Simply follow the suggestions by Peacekeeper to submit the detections to McAfee Labs, as outlined in the Link he provided.
I apologise ,for after revisiting the Screenshot, it was submitted by the Op inestay721. In your case you mentioned the (Red Exclamation Mark)? Could you further explain please? When opening your McAfee UI, is it (Green) and states "Your Computer is Secure"?

The game mod files triggering the Artemis!E40F34EE7422 and Artemis!3C307250133D detections have been reviewed and confirmed to be non-malicious. They should no longer trigger a detection.
