my internet security just ran a routine scan and said that there was a potentially unwanted program. It's an Artemis!BA5B9A39E1C3. The only choice given is to quarantine it or trust it. I need help in deciding what to do with- whether its harmless, harmful or false artemis.

Based solely on file names, this file is most likely a key generator for an Adobe product. "adobe.acrobat.v8_keygenerator.exe".   I'd of course recommend not downloading illicit software.  The detection will stand.
