File Name: FEZERO_CLIENT.EXE
I could not play an online game because the real-time scan keeps removing this as a "trojan," but I am positive that it is not infected since everyone else that plays the game have not been affected by it.
Submit the file as per this FAQ
You should get an immediate detection reply. Reply to this saying in subject False positive and name of the detection. Say why you think it is a false +ve in the body of the email. Give a link to the download page as well.
I am confused on what to do now. Do you mean reply to your post? And also what do you mean the download page (is it the download page of the file/game)? I ran the detection and this is the link that I got: https://www.virustotal.com/file/9a1463724b51a674c173fd43ccbf8c1d18a6b0087e36332a88c8dcfeea7f1fa8/ana...
And I also got a page saying McAfee Getsusp scan results.
When you send the file you will if it worked get an immediate auto detection reply. Reply to this email as I said changing the subject. If you did getsusp did it detect it? If you added your email address to the preferences you will get an email back from mcafee via the getsusp submission.
Either way note the analysis number and if no fix in say 3 days post the number here and I will bump it to a tech.
They should contact you if nothing in 3 days post back and I will stir them up. Check the file again and update mcafee first of course.Message was edited by: Peacekeeper on 5/02/12 4:10:56 PM
