When I try to use minerd.exe McAfee carantines it for an Artemis! 51535B1B2F46 threat.
This program looks perfectly safe. It is included in a download from http://phoenixcoin.org/ and direct download link is http://phoenixcoin.org/downloads/phoenixcoin-win-0.6.5.1.zip
To trigger the carantine, after unzipping, run the phoenixcoin-qt, click the "Mining" tab and finally click "Start mining". BOOM!
To run the program all I have to do is to de-activate the real time protection.
I want to be able to use minerd.exe without closing McAfees real time protection. Thank you!Message was edited by: captain1821 on 2/8/14 7:44:05 PM CST
Submit the file as per
When you get an auto reply reply to that email changing teh subject to False artemis detection and name of detection.
Say where you got file from and why you feel it is a false detection. If not fix in 4 days post back with the analysis number they sent with the email
No! Enough with the submissions! Already contacted support with no result and I already wasted a lot of time.
I have been a paying costumer for years and this is the only request I ever had. If I need to jump through hoops for a little easy and simple problem as that, I prefer to consider changing this service to one of the gazillion cheaper ones out there.
All the informationyou need are there. Very simple. Download it. Check it.
