Artemis!F8C5E5A05D6B

Hi,

I am getting recurring Artemis!F8C5E5A05D6B detection alart by Mcafee. it's showing file windows/Temp/xyz.temp/svchost.exe has been Qurentines.

This is happening very 1/2 hour.

I have Mcafee Internet Security 2010.

Please help.

Please ensure that system restore is disabled.

and Clear your Temporary Internet files. I have included a link which will show you how to do this.

Thx.

It resolved the issues.

But a question, turning Off System Restore, will not allow be to fall back to previous good setup in case my system gives error on re-boot or start. is it's not RISKY ?

Hi,

Disbaling systemrestore mauy be the risk but you do not have to disbale forever. After getting rid of this problem, restart your system and perform full scan and again restart, then enable the system restore.
