Artemis!F340D18399B found when trying to reinstall Office 2007

Artemis trojan found when trying to reinstall Office 2007.  I had to replace my hard drive and when I attempted to reinstall Office Ultimate 2007 McAfee said it found a trojan Artemis!F340D18399B.  I had to find my Office 2003 disc to install.  Should I turn off or uninstall McAfee to reinstall Office 2007? Then reinstall McAfee and scan?

Artemis is an unknown, not necessarily a trojan or virus or worm and has already been submitted to the labs and could equally possibly be a false finding.  Just in case they monitor this section I've included the detction in your header.   You could simply turn off real-time scanning for the installation.

However, I have never seen that coming from a Microsoft disk....is this 3rd party media by any chance?

I'll try it, it has a registration number and official certificate.  Don't know other wise.
