I got a bunch of those.

We are curretly dealing with a confiker problem. thing are getting under control but i stille got a lot of Artemis!9C2556528B4B

Is there a place where i could know what it is ? like a event id list or something.

WebWasher product is detecting Conficker as Artemis!9C2556528B4B. McAfee VirusScan will detect the same file as W32/Conficker.worm.gen.b.

thank you very much. i got a better anwser here than with tier 1 support.  That's what i suspected since we are in the mist of dealing with a conficker.

Is there a place i could look up this info myself ? Having that kind of Artemis!XXXXXXXX stuff does not help at all.

One could submit the sample or hash to VirusTotal to cross reference vendor detection for a malware family. Although most vendors tend to use generic names these days.
