Re: Antimalware Doctor

Required reading -http://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-1294

The best guide for removal of this on the web is here:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antimalware-doctor

Scroll down the page, don't click the first links you see as they are all adverts.

Good luck ;-)

Re: Antimalware Doctor

Hi,

I keep trying this, but my mcafee will not allow me to dowload rkill (which I guess is kinda the point of mcafee, just wish it could have realised not to allow antimalware doctor!)

What can I do instead?  Is tere any other way to do this?

Thanks,

Ariana

Re: Antimalware Doctor

I clicked on it and selected Save (to my desktop) and all I got was a SiteAdvisor warning which had a "Download anyway" button on it - nothing else objected to it.

If it's SiteAdvisor that's warning you and you don't see that option to download anyway, disable it in browser add-ons or tools.

Questions about BleepingComputer remedies should be posted in their forums anyway.
