Re: AV Security Suite

At least now we know how much they care, advice - change antivirus company

Re: AV Security Suite

Fact:  no antivirus of any description catches everything.  It's up to you to keep your system updated, safe and be careful how you use it.

According to the removal guide at BleepiingComputer, which is always the best place to go for such things it is scareware and ransomware.  The harm starts when you start clicking on things.

Scroll down that page by the way.

That said, antivirus companies rely on someone submitting the 'infection' to them, if they don't already have it, so did either of you do that? McAfee Webimmune Labs.

Re: AV Security Suite

Hello, in this page you can find a tool you can download to solve this problem, we also recommend you reinstall your antivirus, this I can have been affected and it not shows the correct detection.

Weimar,

let me know if you solved this case

Re: AV Security Suite

Rogue anti-virus infections (of which this is one) constantly evolve--changing the names used for various files and even where they get put.  Something will have been put into the (your?) user profile, and some processes will have been put into the boot startup.  Cleaning these out can be tricky.

Re: AV Security Suite

Following the case, my recommendation is to use an initial tool to identify the infectious process and try to stop, apparently is an executable that creates the problem, you can use a tool called Process Explorer and run it from the web http:// technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653

then you can run any anti-malware to remove this annoying malware. It is important to use old media support available to customers licensed McAfee
