ePO 5.10.0 and VSEL

Jump to solution

Hello ENS Team,

There is an incompatibility between ePO 5.10 and VSEL which leads to a warning message on the log in screen of ePO. It is recommended to use ENS for Linux in order to skip(not fix) the issue. Since the VirusScan Enterprise for Linux 2.0.3 is still supported, is it possible to install only the ENS extension in ePO and still work with VSEL?

Thanks in advance.

It's not been tested and not guaranteed to work to the outcome is uncertain. You may want to look into upgrading those systems to ENSL asap.

You can't manage VSEL with ENSL extensions. Their extensions are completely separate.

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB90383 advises that VSEL has not been planned to be supported with ePO 5.10

OK so what will happen if I run a task on a Linux machine with the VSEL extension on ePO 5.10?
